Halloween is over, which basically means all things Christmas are a go at our house! I saw a girl I follow on Instagram (@darrylanndenner) post about making homemade vanilla extract. I think it makes the perfect gift for neighbors, teachers, and anyone hosting a holiday party. The materials needed and recipe are below!

Materials Needed:

• Vanilla Beans
• Vodka (bourbon, brandy, or rum can be used)
• Glass bottles or jars with tight seal
• Funnel
• Ribbon

Homemade Vanilla Extract

Cut 5 vanilla beans in half. Add to 8oz jar. Fill with vodka. Let it set for 8+ weeks and enjoy!
